New Rules for HD On Demand Early Release Movies:

Do you like watching the newest movies on demand? You might have a problem on the horizon.

Moving forward cable companies and online content providers will be bringing you new releases even sooner after they leave the theaters. That's the good news.

The bad news is that the very same content providers will be able to turn off the signal to your TV if you are not using the right equipment. Essentially, traditional component (analog) cables do not allow for copyright protection, HDMI cabling does.

Very soon watchers will not be able to watch early-release HD video unless you have an HDMI capable system. Unfortunately, many folks out there do not.
